I am new to accounting...

I am trying to calculate revenue/employee and the number of employees are given in the question however I am not sure where I get the revenue figure from...

The question gives a profit and loss sheet and a balance sheet

Thanks in advance

Revenue should be listed on the P&L at the top.

They are definitely NOT the same.

Revenue is a broad term for SALES or TURNOVER.

Net Profit is Revenue minus all costs and expenses.

Sales - All Expenses = Net Profit.

That is odd; I would report the problem to the sites admin's. They show up for me... Are you a member of the site or just a guest, I think you have to be a member to post in the first place but I am not sure.

I would post this issue here and include the screen shot.
