I have a 94 honda civic dx coupe 1.5L and I blew my head gasket now the day I realized this was when my car sputtered an shut off it would not start back up anti-freeze was blowing out my tail pipe I have put a brand new head gasket on it new spark plugs and now it will not start . It would not before I replaced the head gasket ether it sat for about 1 month before I worked on it I change the oil an filter an bought a flush kit to clean it out when I try to start it by itself it sounds dead an when I try to jump it it almost turns over an than begins to die back down now I know the timing is off buy one notch an I can't afford to keep dumping money in this car please help if anyone can

When you did the head gasket did you have the heads milled/decked? Check the clearance between the pistons and valves? When you put you put the cam back in did you line up the marks... exactly? One tooth can cause even more problems Not running for one, the timing needs to be close or it will never start. The timing can be adjusted to a certin extent but if a tooth is off it can't be adjusted. Also check if you have the Wires on the correct plug. Firing order for that car is 1-3-2-4 the distributor rotates clockwise.
