I was recently arrested for an OUI in the state of Massachusetts. I have never been required to take drug tests before and I am nervous about it, I have been a heavy drinker (>5 a night) for the past three years throughout college, and I have since stopped drinking because it was court ordered. I was just wondering if anyone knew what kind of tests they do for alcohol and how long before alcohol leaves your body completely where there would be no traces found in urine. I am aware of more in depth tests but I do not think they apply seeing as the test I am taking is only $11 twice a week, the reason I am asking is because my friends drink and I was wondering if I could have a few non alcoholic beers while hanging out or if I must abstain from anything containing even small amounts of alcohol. Thank you.

NA beer actually contains some alcohol so it may show in a urine test. Your body can get rid of one can of beer in your urine in 24 hours. Its based on body weight and how much you have had to drink. A urine test is the most common type of test for alcohol.
