Hello! I read this book at my cousins house in the mid 80's while I was on vacation. Its about a boy that lives behind a false wall in the kitchen of the house. Something happens to the mother and the boy remains living in the house until new tenants move in. he ventures out to spy on the family members but remians living behind this wall. I never got to read the end because we ended up coming home :( Does anyone know the title of this book. I know I'm not giving you much to go on but anything would help. I think there's a part in the book where the new owners suspect something and put flour on the floor in the kitchen to try and catch him...
