Hi there,
I am building a staircase that is to go up around a round building. I know the diameter of the building, but what is the formula for finding the diameter of the staircase. I know I have to know the hight of the building as well... but now sure where else to start.
Thanks,

You are asking about pie r squared 3.14. You need to define the objective of length and travel increments along with heights increments include desired width from either finite or a actual number.
If you can help out here more so I can help you to established radius and height which is controlled by step starting point width and horizontal length of desired step.

I forgot the set radios "axle" of radius size plays on numbers here. It the length of 'Axel" horizontal travel of fixed radius there already.
Sorry for the re post
