I have Hampton beach fan with light. I changed the light switch as pull cahin was totally detached while pulling. During this , I saw fan switch ( three speed) wiring was disturb. I tried to connect. Now the fan works all the time with three speed but does not stop when chain is pulled. Can you tell me what I did wrong in the connection?

It appears you bypassed the switch.

What should I do to correct this?

I need more information on the fan switch -- how many wires and where do they come from and where do they go.
When you said, "I saw fan switch (three speed) wiring was disturb", what does that mean? How had it been disturbed?
Did you replace the chain? You said it was completely detached.

The chain of the light switch was totally out so I replaced the light switch with 3 wire swich .The swich works perfectly when I pull the chain. The fan switch which is there was old and I saw yellow and blch wire were seen hanging so I decided to change the fan switch with anther 3 wire switch. I connected wires as per the color with the capacito. When I pull the chain fan started and the speed also found changing with the pull ot a
Chain but the fan does not stop rotating.

I'm still confused. A 3-wire switch? Can you explain this switch? Is it a standard wall-type three-way switch (called a hotel switch in some parts of Europe)?

You probably didn't replace it with the right switch. Take a look at these directions here:
