I have a 2000 F-250 diesel with 181000 miles on it, today it started acting up. It starts up runs for less than a minuet then dies, it won't start right away, you have wait a couple of minuets then it will start up like nothing is wrong. After a minuet or so it dies again. I changed the Cam position sensor and nothing changed.

My gut is that you may have a fuel pressure problem:
. Ensure engine oil is full and that the oil and filter have been recently changed. This can affect fuel pressure.
. Purge fuel filter or fuel separator of water. Do this at least monthly--daily, if necessary. Water can be a big problem with diesels, particularly in the winter. Replace fuel filter every 15,000 miles.
