Hey... I'm 15 years old and I never ever had a boyfriend and I mean guys do ask me out but I turn them down. Now I'd like to have a boyfriend but it seems that the guys I like have girlfriend :/ and my mum says I'm not girly enough... how can I be more girly ( I'm quite loud acutally but I like being loud:cool: but maybe I need to change?

First of all, I don't think you should have to change for anyone. If your loud, that's how you are.. and about the tomboy thing, whatever. Not all guys like girly-girls, and you even said you've been asked out.

Don't venture for a boyfriend :).

Like barbiechick said, you should never have to pretend to be anything that you are not for anyone, ever. It doesn't matter if you aren't "girly", you are fine just as you are. If you pretend to be something else then it will only make you unhappy in the end, and a relationship based on falseness of any sort is doomed to failure and heartbreak. If he isn't happy with who you are, then HE isn't good enough for YOU. Never settle. Never lower your standards and it will all work out in the end.

Don't ever try to be someone you are not.
There is nothing wrong with improving yourself but that does not mean be someone who is false.
Someone likes you for who you are or they don't.
Honor yourself!

Im 14 and I am proud not too have had a girlfriend. Of course sometimes I wonder what it actually would be like but for me it isn't a priority. I agree with everything everyone says above but maybe have a look at what guys are into. Try be more out-going and make the guys know that your out there. - not just with your noise levels :) - but in my opinion almost nothing can be more important than holding onto what you are as a person and your ideas and thoughts. Try not to think about what they are doing and go out and do something yourself, something that you enjoy doing or maybe get some girly girls to help you find a guy that's worth your time. Hope you don't have to wait long! Good luck

Believe me tomboys come into their own in their own time.

You are wonderful just the way you are.

Don't fall into the peer pressure, you have plenty of time to grow up so don't rush too much.
