My wife doesn't have an ITIN number or SSN. Is it possible for me to file taxes without waiting for her ITIN to get processed. We are residing at Pennsylvania.
Help.

Complete your wife's Form W-7 with all the required documentation and submit that, together with your tax return, to:
Internal Revenue Service
ITIN Operation
P.O. Box 149342
Austin, TX 78714-9342

Or you may file Married Filing Separately

To elaborate on the Married Filing Separately, you list your wife's name and the letters "NRA" (for non-resident alien) where her SSN would go. You have to MAIL this return, but the IRS will accept.

However, requesting the ITIN is probably MUCH better for you tax-wise.
