I was having a mouse problem with my laptop. The mouse would't let me point at something. It was all over the place. So I opened the keyboard to try to fix it and now only half the keys work...

Sounds like maybe the ribbon cable to the keyboard may have dislocated or not put in correctly, as far as mouse problem prior might be a M/B issue
