Why can't some people take criticisms?
Seriously, but only when it's constructive criticism. I have a friend, and she wants to become a cartoonist or either an artist, anything to do with what she loves. But... whenever she shows me her drawings, I give her compliments... yet, she needs to IMPROVE a lot. Every time I tell her how, and what she needs to improve on, she just goes "Hey, nothing is perfect." Yeah I do know that for a fact!
In the art industry or whatever it is... career... jobs, blah, Anyway, I'm really starting to get tired and annoyed with helping her in the first place. She doesn't even show her art to anyone else unless she thinks she's going to get compliments. Other than that she hisses like an animal whenever someone asks to view her art. Of course art is something meant to be shown and displayed to others... yet she just doesn't get it. We've both been friends for over 3 years, I don't want it to end just because of her misunderstanding me trying to help her.
