I have been dating this girl for 2 months. We are both in our early 20s. I think she likes me & and I love her to bits. Im not able to man up and pop the question(would you like to be my girlfriend? Or are we together now?). I can sense that she is getting a little frustrated. She has patience though, because she has spent time with me all the while.

I want to kiss her and hold hands and stuff. Ive only gone as far as putting my hand over her shoulder while walking... which usually only lasts for about 5 seconds. I tend to freak out after that.

She is the first girl I've ever dated.

How can I move forward now or in future? This is giving me a lot of stress and adding to my depression. Its proving more and more that I will never be able to get a girl friend.

If you are both in your early 20s then you should be a little more advanced along the road of g/f b/f stuff. Just do it if you care for her enough. She is sticking by you, so is probably getting frustrated waiting for you to ask; and she is in the same boat as you.

Thank you all for your advice. It turns out that she wasn't going to commit to me anyway. Those were her words. And she was actually dating someone else too. Im broken now and I will just move on.
