I'd like to know what should I do in my case.I have married with thai woman on Dec20,2007 in Thailand. After that I back to PA, USA with the promise that I'll bring her to be with me.We keep contact each other everyday for 9 months by phone, text, chatting and I sent her money 150 USD each month.I never apply visa K-3 for her till now.She is a nice woman but I'd like she has a better life more than be with me.Moreover I met a new filipino woman who I want to be with more than her.So I'd like to divoce her but she said I've to go to Thailnad for getting divoce and I've to respondse her even we didn't have kids together because I destroyed her married life. Now I've too much problems from my debts so I don't have any money to go to thailand or respondse her.Thais law have any effect for me in US or not?? I'd like to know what should I do?

The only effect of that is you may have a hard time to marry again since your marriage with this Thai wasn't void. You know even marriage overseas will ask you to prove you're eligible to marry.

Divorce can be quick and easy if you can go to Thailand. It can be done in less than an hour at the registration office. If you cannot go, it will be more difficult for her. According to Thai laws, she can file for a divorce to family court in 12 months on ground of being deserted. No spousal support if you're married less than a year or with no prenuptial agreement.

The other option is having Thai marriage registration acknowledged in US. Bring the original and notarized translated copies to the county office. This way, you can file a divorce in your state, but it won't be immediate. It could take up to 10 months as you must notify her. No quick and easy way... sorry.
