My question is- if you are taking codeine, can it pull positive in the oxycodone family of drugs? Is there such a fluke?

Hi Clough and thanks for the warm welcome. Yes, the site is a bit confusing.

I am an old Army Vet who is now back in the civilian world and I find it a bit confusing also. :)

I am on T3 for an injury I sustained while serving in the M.E. and I pulled hot for the oxy family of drugs and I was in the process of proving that it is a false positive. I rec'd a call this morning stating that it showed positive because it is in the opiate family and I am covered because codeine is on my med history form.

Again, thanks for your reply and I will learn this site and post in the appropriate place.
