Vct is there now. I'm going to pull up and get it back to concrete.

Once you get the floor prepped you will need to snap lime "chalk"some real clear control joints going both ways. You can pick the longest wall as the square off point. Dry lay the tile from that wall and see what's left over to next weals (both ways the+ check) You want to even out the cuts on both sides by shifting the pattern. This can also be done form the exact centered snap chalk line. And shift tile form there to adjust side cute.

Since you are on concrete be careful of the adhesive/glue. Some adhesives need to be fore below grade concrete floor application. I would use that no matter what because of the concrete may have moisture. Follow adhesive instructions carefully.

Snap control joints both ways every 8 to 10 feet for quality control stop wavy lines of tile

I lay my vct from the center out and then square in sections from there.

Setting the tile is relatively easy use proper notched trowel. Wipe any smeared glue when it wet.
