I have been hearding pipe or plumbing noises. You know the noises you heard when you live in an apartment building, when someone in the building cuts the water on and off or flushes the toilet. There's a house in back of us owned by the same landlord but not joined to my house and they pay a separate water bill so I wouldnot be hearing their water noises would I? What could possibly be causing the noises ? Anybody got a answer for me?

Their could be the problem of pipes under your home are not secure good and they might could be bumping against each other sometimes. Are one line from the washer might could be causeing problem with the other lines under the house. I would get it checked..

It could be a toilet flapper leaking and then the tank has to refill or maybe an ice maker or water softner recharging. Close your main and see if the noise stops.

Please describe the noises. Cracking and popping? Growling or groaning? One bang after a faucet is shut off? Water rushing down a pipe? What??
Let's hear back from you. Tom
