I don't know how I've hurt my foot... but its been really painful for weeks now, I can't put my weight onit and have to walk on the side of my foot.. the pain is located in the middle of my foot on the inside sortof underneath my second and third toe and on the outside its swollen.. some days it seems like its getting worse and other days not so bad.
I don't know what it is but I can't walk on my tip toes or walk properly!
Please help as I don't know what I've done and I'm starting to develp a limp.. its not a good look!! :)

I have gout in both my feet from time to time and this is caused from too much uric acid in the blood, compensated by drinking lots of water to wash it out.

What you have sounds like what I have and is not a big deal if you can manage the pain your own way, as I do. I take antiinflammatories when I feel an attack coming on, so it is basically treated like arthritis pain. I have a low pain threshold so it isn't a big deal for me, only at night when the bedcloths touch my foot and that really irriates and pains.

I am not saying you have gout, we can't diagnose here, but it sounds like gout and gout by any other name, etc.

Have your doctor check your foot out.

Check to see if you have Morton's Neuroma. Press your fingers into the ball of your foot just behind the second and third toe. The pain will be horrific if there's a neuroma there. I've had one on each foot, and surgery years ago was the answer.
