I have a wood stove in a room at the end of my home. It works really well, for that room. I'd like to install an insulated flex duct, with internal fan, from the wood stove room and have the warm air exit more centrally located. The flex duct would be in the attic. Once installed more insulation will be added to the entire attic area. There is an electrical circuit available that is not used right now.

Is it possible to do this?
Are there products available for the do-it-yourselfer to install?
Where might I find the components I need?
Anybody tried this before?

Sure its possible,, even better with the ductwork in the attic, because hot air rises to the ceiling, who many rooms and how far are you wanting to duct the heat?
You probably could get most everything but a duct booster fan from Lowe's or some other local building supply,, I`ve see it work pretty well
