I am on birth control but had missed a couple days in a row the days before having unplanned intercourse. Just in case I took the plan B less than 24 hrs later to cover the days and ease my anxiety from missing the pill those days prior. It has been 2 days since taking plan B and I have continued to take my Birth control pills like I should have originally. How will I know that I'm not pregnant when the BC pills will keep me from having my period? SHould I stop taking the BC pills and remain abstinant until I get my period? If I was not due to have my period for another week and a half are my chances high that I could have gotten pregnant with my missed doses? I really appreciate anything you can tell me regarding my situation its always on my mind.

Take a pregnancy test... whatever you do don't discontinue use of the birth control.
