Andrew Anderson was sound asleep at 2am when two uniformed police officers with their guns drawn pulled him from his door saying ''You're under arrest for selling narcotics.'' Anderson was handcuffed and locked in the bathroom while there officers searched the whole house for drugs. Finding none, they pulled Anderson out into the hallway and yelled: Where are the drugs, dopehead?
Anderson replied I want to talk to a lawyer.
As a defense attorney at Anderson's preliminary hearing, what arguments would you make to the court on behalf of your client, Andrew Anderson?
