I'm terrified that I could be pregnant again. I just had my 2nd Csection in Dec. '08!
Here are the clues to my mystery:

- Feb. 1, 2 & 3 light pink spotting.
- Feb. 20 & 21 light pink spotting.
- Somewhere between the two spotting episodes I had sex (withdrawal only birth control used)
- I am EXCLUSIVELY breastfeeding my daughter.
- NEG pregnancy test on Feb. 28 - But I'm experiencing some major pregnancy symptoms!
- Even though my period has not returned, I typically ovulate 19 days out.

My confusion is in the 2 spotting episodes... was the 1st my fertility returning and then the 2nd implantation bleeding? They seem too close together for that to be the case.

With no period, it's hard to know when I was fertile and when the PT will be accurate!

I do NOT want to be pregnant. This soon!!

Odds are you aren't pregnant... exclusive breastfeeding is a pretty good form of birth control at preventing ovulation, although not 100%. Withdrawl method is not the most reliable, but better than nothing. The two combined increase the odds in your favor.

You may not even have a period until you start to wean your baby or baby starts to drop feedings on their own.

Since you are concerned, try another pregnancy test in another week or two. Be sure to use protection to decrease the chance of an unplanned pregnancy. You can use the mini-pill while breastfeeding if that is an option you would consider.
