Hello, I have a 15 year old daughter who had a 4 month old daughter (oops). We were wondering if no father is listed on the birth cert. and we are not asking for support can he ask for a dna test. Also if a father is listed on the cert can boys who are listed request one? The bio father and his family are crazy and we will do anything to keep the baby safe.

If a boy believes he is the father, he is legally able to request a DNA test through the courts. If the court orders a DNA test and your daughter doesn't comply, she'll be found in contempt.

Depends on what state you are in. If someone acknowledges paternity, that person will be the legal father unless challemged. Most states have a tme frame in which that challenge may be made.

If the person that is the father steps forward to take responsibility and does so through the courts then yes they can be granted rights by the courts. This will include paying support as well as possible visitation. How old is the alleged father ?
Also In my opinion.. when a child has a child.. it doesn't qualify as oops.

The bio father of the child can request a DNA test and if proven to be the father can request joint custody, can ask for visits and more.
You asking for child support does not stop them from asking for any of that.
