I have been constantly harassed by my office manager. She has basically singled me out to pick on. She tells me I can have no break, she tells me to stay in my hole, to the point where she has threatened me over and over to fire me for no reason. I have been there 8 years and do my job well. She just started 2 years ago. She threw a pile of patient charts on the floor and told me I had to clean them up. She calls me at home. She cut my hours in half but did it to no one else. What do I do? I reported her to management and they told me they didn't want to hear it and I was written up.

Is she picking on you because of your race or sex or religion ?
If not, you may look for a new job

No, it's none of those things, but I have become emotionally distressed, and am afraid to go to work.

Sometimes when a company wants an employee to quit, they start acting exactly like that supervisor is acting towards you. Cutting hours, refusing breaks, you know, little stuff like that. The employer is hoping you will quit. I've seen that sort of game played before on some fellow employees at bigger firms. The dead give away was the part where you said the management does not want to hear it and you got written up.

By all means, please try to find another job before you get shown the door as I feel this is coming shortly.

I agree; it sounds like they are trying to get you to quit. I am kind of dealing with a similar situation but I'm not really sure what is going on. It almost makes you want to stay, and stand up to them. But, it probably won't stop if you addressed it and were written up. That's horrible. I say get out of there! That's what I'm going to do. There's no reason to take abuse like that.

Does this have anything to do with your arrest record? It is possible that they don't want to fire you and have a problem with discrimination over a criminal record so instead they are trying to force you out. https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/criminal-law/2nd-offense-retail-theft-323214.html
