I used to watch a movie when I was younger, and the details have all but left me.
I remember being scared, so the feel must have been eerie, and the color palette was dark as well. What I remember is near to nothing.
Perhaps candy played a part?(This might not be the case)
The one thing I remember clearly is the group of little creatures that leads the adventure to retrieve something from the evil place do so by sailing down a sewer. Not necessarily a 'human' sewer as if they live amongst us, but simply a dirty concrete waterway that leads from their peaceful world to one of discord.
