there is a guy that is always around and he was around since I first started to date people. And he is nothing but nice to me. Well about a month ago I was talking to him and to find out that he likes me. So we talked about going out. But the problem is my parents. See I'm almost 18 and I think I should pick anyone I want to go out with.but they don't.so a couple of weeks ago my mom comes to me and then she says that she knows about me and him.I thought that she was lying like most parentsdo. And I have been thinking its time for me to get out of the house and start my own life. So I went to school and I asked if they could help me to get somewhere to live. Then they called my parents about this and then my mother told the school I was getting involed with a 26 year old man and they didn't like it. I hated them for saying that. They acted like it was all about him. Its not and I want to be with him but its been almost three weeks since I saw him cause they won't let me out of the house.so I have been thinking of running away. Well it won't be running away since my birthday is in three weeks.


Can anyone tell me if it worth my time to be with him or should I still date him?

Well he is a lot older than you, but if you really really like him and he really really likes you you should run away to his house and move a few states away so your parents won't find you and get married ten tell them but you got to stay in touch with your parents the whole time, so that they can ease the worry off you.

I know you think you know everything about this guy and that you really like him but he is a lot older than you.

Do not move out of your state and get married, that's nuts.

If you want to move out at 18 your family can't stop you. But it is a big decision and not one to be taken lightly. Your parents obviously feel strongly about this.

Just take it easy, if this guy really likes you he'll wait the while until your 18 and he can date you then. Or if he had any cajonas at all he might come over and try to talk to your parents about why he thinks this is a good idea.
