I want to know if unions are helpful or a hindrance at employment stage...
I know they are very helpful when employed, but what do they offer you before employment?

Labour Unions are a vital part of any economy.

Have you not heard "the catch 22" saying:-

No union membership no job.
No job no union membership.

Yes, but that doesn't say anything about the employment stage...

Are you in or are you out ?

Who do you think has negotiated the award
Under which you are going to be remunerated
If you are in.
Who is going to look after you ,once you are in ?
Who is greeder ? The Employer or the Employee?
