Is it required by the state of Georgia that if your probation is revoked that you must spend 30 days in jail

I don't think so. At the revocation hearing, the judge can make you serve any of the remaining sentence in jail, part of it, or none of it at all.

At the VOP hearing the judge can even revert back to the original sentencing order. Don't know where you get the 30 day business from.
