I am a youngman in nigeria africa. I would like to start a company that specializes in moving things, helping people move from one apartment to another. Furnitures and other possession. I won't move any other goods except domestic. My question is :

How do I get a truck
How do I generally fund the set up.
How do I start.

Please do respond because I noticed that there is an absence of professional movers in this country.

Hi, lawson kane!

To get a truck, you would look for one that's the kind that you want and either purchase it or maybe rent or lease it.

To get funds, you put together a business plan and go to a bank or some other entity that you think might be willing to loan you money, present your business plan to them showing that you've organized how your going to start and run your business and see if you can get a loan.

You can start by putting together a business plan for a moving company. Some examples can be found via clicking on the following search. You'll look much better to the entity that might loan you money, if you have some sort of definitive and workable business plan.

Moving Company Business Plan - Google Search (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Moving+Company+Business+Plan&btnG=Search)

You're also definitely going to need the proper types of insurance for your company and for your employees, if you have any. So, I would see an insurance agent concerning that.

Concerning any advertising and marketing of your business, I can give you some advice about that. If you would like to know some effective ways to market and advertise, please let me know.

Thanks!
