I was born in the UK, I went to Cyprus to live after being married to a Cypriot then took naturalization there , not losing of course by British passport, unfortunately I was widowed and have since remarried to an American citizen and live in NC USA, going through the process of immigration right now , not yet got a green card.
I own a house in Cyprus and have the deeds, I just now start to wonder about making a will , can anyone tell me if I passed away , which country would be the right place to start any proceedings and which laws would be followed , just some general advice as I believe in Cyprus regardless of me maybe having a will I think my estate would be shared equally between my american spouse and my 2 children ? Its strange but I was told its correct , not sure where to start or what to do with regard to the future , any advice welcome

You have to make it so it follows the laws of both nations, you may have to get an attorney from both nations involved to be sure that all witness and filings meet requirements of both.
