If the CEL comes on and goes off normally, when the ignition switch is turned to ON, focus on the distributor. Even though it sparks, the ignitor may be bad and it is really firing at the wrong time. Therefore, I would replace the ignitor and coil. If the problem persists, I would replace the distributor housing (genuine Honda only)--internal sensors (CKP, CYL, or TDC) may be bad.

Here's how to replace the ignitor and coil:

Honda K-Test: Remove the MAP Sensor connector and turn the ignition switch to ON (not start). Using a multimeter, check for 5 volts going between the MAP Sensor connector's reference wire (+) and ground. As you look at the connector, this is the socket on the right. Really press the black test lead into a cleaned main ECM ground on the thermostat housing. If the voltage is low, it's probably indicating ECM failure. Most failed ECMs will record a fraction of a volt. To me, the K-Test is simple, elegant, and accurate.

Why are you trying to find out what the original ECM is?

I have merged posts but in doing so some answers get lost at time

Will a bad ignition switch stop the injectors from getting voltage.

It can, but you would be losing voltage from other Items as well, most likely

OK this is what I have done so far check main relay getting three clicks, fuel pump runs, starter engages,I have replaced coil, ignitor, fuel pump, distributor housing, and ignition switch, replaced the emc with use one ,but when I connected the ground cable it gave off a little spark, don't know what cause this right I'm stuck don't know if it 's in the engine wiring debating if I should change the engine harness, thanks. It gave off the little spark after I install new distributor housing, any suggestions on what to do next? Something else I notice was that the ground wires on the thermostat housing, I have 4,two blk,and 2 more, one of my blk one gose to the temp.switch.I've looked on other 92's they have 4 wires the same but all 4 and the temp switch has its on two ,is there something wrong with my harness?

I'm having a problem getting voltage to injectors,I 've got volts at the yel/blk wire from the main relay and got volts at the ecm A13 & B1. Where do I do next, none of the sensors that has the yel/blk wire has any voltage
