First get the charge reduced to $5.000 & under.Try to get a conditional discharge,if it's your first time the judge will agree with this. You will get probation, after your probation is up,& you fulfill the conditions you won't have a record. If you are charged with theft over $5.000 like you.You might as well try to steal a million it's the same amount of time you will receive,If I were you I be more worried about what your parents, are going to do too you.Remember crime dosen't pay.Get off the computer & games & get a job.Believe me JAIL will be your worst nightmare& if you stole the money for drugs!come clean & get help REMEMBER! One thing my son ,there's no chicks only s in jail.good luck young blood.

Can you or have you paid the money back, that is the first thing, they will not deal until this is done.
As a minor it may also depend on the attitude of your parents and what they are willing or not willing to do to help the situation.
For minors it is hard to say, they will look not only at the crime but all issues, home life, your personal life and more that may have lead to this.

Most of the people who post receive the Court date within 30 days but some have waited longer and others have received notification almost immediately. I think it depends on how quickly the complaint is sworn and the matter moves through the system.

I would say you can't - you will be charged with what the Crown can prove.
