I moved in USA on May 9 2008 on L1 visa along with my wife and daughter on L2. My wife has ssn but not for daughter .
I want to file my first tax return here. I have my W-2. My Salary is paid here by my local office in USD.
How can I file my return, what form, what deductions etc ?

In your case, it is the best option to file joint return as residents. You will attach W7 (ITIN applicatin) for your child your tax return. You must both report your worldwide income.

MukatA,
Thanks for the answer. What form I will have to file? Can I file it on my own or I will have to use professional services ? Can I file on line?
