I'm really not sure if ghosts are real. My mom says that there are no such things as ghosts but I have heard people talk about having ghosts in there house and all that. There is never any thing strange going on in my house.:D But last night I heard a quiet xylophone playing:eek:, but it may have been the television in the other room even though it sounded really close. I don't know. Please help. Thanks!:)

I think so. When I was younger I had an encounter with one or a few. Nothing bad happened like in the movies. Nothing bad will happen to you. They can't hurt you. Not all people believe in them and that's fine. I don't expect them to. I know I do. Well anyway I hope that was a little helpful.

Very helpful. Thank you. Do you think that there are any mean ghosts? Like harmful ghosts?

I think that ghosts are like people, well they were people before they died. You have your nice goasts and you have your mean ghosts. I hardly doubt that a goast has the power to physically hurt you. If you think that you have a ghost in your house and you are afraid of it then what you can do is get some sage and burn it through out your house. What kind of things are you expierencing?

Hi, Miss Helpful!

Although I would rather not believe that they exist, I've had too many experiences in my life that I couldn't logically and/or rationally explain as to what happened to believe that they don't exist.

Concerning hearing sounds that you might think are something of the paranormal. The first thing to do is to find a rational, logical explanation for the sound or sounds.

At night, we're more sensitive to a lot of sounds that we wouldn't normally be sensitive to during the day, because there's so much less noise and sound happening outside. Also, homes and buildings are kind of like big speaker boxes for stereos in that they can actually help to amplify noises from outside the building or home. For instance, some noises and sounds from someone else's home might sound louder when heard from inside our home than if we were to try to listen to the same noises or sounds from out in our yard.

Thanks!

Thank you both of you. And to answer your question arnimal7, the only things that have happened are that I heard a xylophone one night, and a cow one night. But as Clough said there is probably a logical and reasonable answer for both of those.
