I would like to know how you actually get in touch with a charity and ask for a donation. I have never in my life had to ask for anything as my husband and I have always worked as have my children. But due to an accident my son had he now has brain damage that has made him wheelchair bound, that was in 1996, but since then we took care of him to 2004, when due to our health we couldn't. So we got government help and he now gets 24/7care.
What I would like to know is are there charities that would help towards the cost of a holiday for him, the main reason we can't afford it is he has to pay for the carers flights and hotel or apartment he gets, so its not just 1 flight and 1 room, it has to be three. We have managed to save up £350 but that would only cover one person, please help me find the right people we don't have anything left to sell and due to our illhealth, we can't work anymore.
