I have a "wonderful" Hampton Bay fan from our friends at the home depot. My bulbs finally burned out and I need to replace them. The problem is, no one carries the bulbs in the size and wattage I need.

The fan has up lighting with C7 15W bulbs and down lighting with candelabra 45W bulbs. Any idea where I can get these? I have been searching the net with no luck...

I tried also, no luck, and I know exactly what I am looking for. Home Depot chose to use HB fans which is a limited brand, all made offshore, along with the lamps. You should be able to find these lamps at HD.

If the store doesn't have them, check their catalog line:

And another catalog vendor we use for some hard to find parts is

If TK can't find them, the probably don't exist. It would be great if Home Depot carried them since it is their product but the world doesn't work that way.

C7 lamps are used in Christmas Lighting. Very easy to find. The 45 Watt candelabra lamp is another story. Use a 40 watt lamp and remember, the wattage of a light bulb has nothing to do with its brightness. That is called lumens. You can find some lamps in the forty watt range that give 60 watt worth of lumens. It is the lumen value you seek and not the 45 watt lamp.
