Does anyone have any suggestions/opinions about installing drilock or any other subfloor system in the basement? I have heard that it is good to use them and I have heard that it is good not to install them. Does anyone have any experience with the pros and cons?

A lot depends on what type of floor you plan to put on top of the drilock or dricore. The word drilock usually refers to a type of paint not a subfloor. Did you mean Dricore? Dricore Subfloor Systems is the essential air gap subfloor system with a moisture barrier (http://www.dricore.com/en/eIndex.aspx)

My question, is this a day lite basement? If so then a dricore will raise the floor up considerably. If there are no floor exits in the basement floor then Dricore would work.

I meant to say dricore

My worry about dricore in a basement is what happens if/when you do get a flood? It is now trapped under and in a sub floor that is mostly particle board. I can't picture how this will not result in mold and mildew plus swelling of the subfloor.
