I have a Maytag side by side and the Freezer side has quit working. All food has thawed and of course ice maker not working. Refigerator side seems OK. Any ideas what could be the problem? Thanks,GT

Check for mouse droppings under the unit. If you find them, unplug the unit and start a check of the exposed wiring to see if any have been bitten through.
