Hello,

I recently purchased a core drill with a locking plug, 20 Amp/110 V, which I hope to use at any location, not in a single shop. I would like to know if it is possible to find an extension already built to handle this for use at any location (with a non-locking, standard 3 wire male end). If not, could I adapt the machine with a standard 3 wire plug (one that can be used anywhere), like this one?

I realize that this is a 15 Amp plug, but I have not found a 20 Amp regular plug anywhere...

Thank you,
Alex

This is a regular 20 amp straight blade plug:

If you mean you are looking for a 20 amp plug that is same as the 15 amp, you will not find it.

Problem is you must have a 20 amp receptacle to plug a 20 amp plug into.

I would not downsize the 20 amp plug to a 15 on the core drill. It comes with a 20 amp plug for a reason. The load of the drill will most likely burn out the 15 amp plug.
