So Build-A-Bear Workshop is SO expensive. But my boyfriend's daughter has been begging me to take her there forever. Is there anything that can be bought or a similar store that isn't so expensive??

My daughter loves Build-A-Bear. And yes, they are expensive. But they've come out with a new line of animals that are very cute and are only $10 each instead of the usual $18 or $20. If you can limit her to one of those plus a little hat or shirt instead of a fancy outfit then you can get out of there at under $20 total.

I was in there today, and the cheapest animal was $15... It's crazy...

But they give the child a memory of a lfe time, often that bear may be with them for years and years.

True, but once the animal is picked out, stuffed, and accesorized I'm 60 bucks out... That's why I'm wondering if there's something comparable.

I have seen a few "private" copy cat places at a mall or two, but they were not really cheaper.
