Hello,
I have been answering questions in the teen forum here for a while and see a reoccurring theme
i love this guy/girl and I can't figure out if they like me or not.
So here's my bit to say on it.
1.If s/he is not available, then this is a no go. No, not ever. Ignore them. It's not nice and you will not like it when someone does it to you.
2.You cannot love someone if you don't know them/have never spoken to them etc.Love is about sharing yourself with someone and supporting them, trusting them and knowing them. So you see where the problem would be without ever having had a conversation with this person, yes?
3.Please do not come on here asking for ways to see if someone likes you, if you really liked this person as much as you say you do you'd grow a pair and ask them! If you can't do that these are most of the answers that you will get
~Ask them :)
~Look to their body language
~Ask their friends
~Find a way into their group and try to start on the 'friends circle'
Doesn't really matter though because s/he could lie to his friends or be shy or whatever else, so if you just ask him/her you will know for sure, before that, they are all just.. slightly educated.. stabs in the dark.
4.Trust your instinct. You know when something feels right and when it doesn't. If you can listen to that inner voice it will bring you a lot farther than anything or anyone else.
5.If your love interest is being a little p**** then they are not good enough for you. End of. Period. No, it's not that the world doesn't understand them, or that his parents don't love them or that they really do like you and slagging you off to their friends/not talking to you in public etc is not a sign of attraction. It's mean and selfish and juvenile and you should tell them to 'GET F*****!!'
6.Stop using myspace/facebook etc to start/monitor these relationships. If you can't talk to them in person then they are probably not the best thing for you.
7.Finally and most importantly learn to love you before you try to love someone else. If you need confirmation why this is a good idea, have a look at the relationships forum, it's full of people who are twice maybe three times your age or more still trying to find that. In general, people are attracted to confidence. So find that first and you'll find someone who's worthy of you, and what's more you'll know they are yourself.
Please add to this if there's anything else you can think of, I'm sure I've forgotten things. :D
