I receive approx 24,000 a year in disability payments and also take out 800 a month or 9,600 which is the interest on my IRA's. Is any part of this income taxable? I also have approx 14,000 in medical expenses for 2008; and approx 3500 in property & school taxes which I have paid.
Thanks for any help you can give.

A part of your social security benefits may be taxable if half of the SS benefits plus your other income exceeds the base amount. Read Social Security Income and Disability Benefits Your U.S. Tax Return: The U.S. Income Tax Topics 1 (http://taxipay.blogspot.com/2008/08/us-income-tax-topics-1.html)
