Hey everyone! I remember when I was younger I saw a movie where a guy is using all his quarters at the supermarket in a quarter machine so he can get a ring. After he eventually gets it he engages his girlfriend with it. I'm pretty sure they were teenagers or early 20's. For some reason I keep thinking the guy was river phoenix but I could be wrong. Please help me find the movie! Thanks!

Oh they were country singers... I remember that movie.. I know I'm sorry I'm not much help but I remember... they were amateur country singers and he takes her to memphis to see elvis's house... and when he gets the ring they get married right then and there maybe this will help someone else
