Runaway Love by Ludacris and Mary J. Blige. What kind of sad songs are you looking for, love, family, etc.
*runaway love is about kids who are living in hell basically, one is sexually abused by her step dad, one is just plain abused, and another is pregnant*

Carry you Home by James Blunt
Just thought of a song I thought was sad when I had just moved away from all my friends and family in England, it was on the soundtrack of The Wedding Date and is called Home sung by Michael Bulble.

Rascal Flatts-What hurts the most
I love this song! Rascal Flatts has some of the best lyrics I've heard. What Hurts the Most is a great sad song. I almost cry every time I hear it. They're a lot like Jewel, you can feel the emotion in their voice.

You could try The Killers, The Script, Coldplay, they're indie I guess and all have great albums although all of the tracks aren't sad songs. The Fray, Snow Patrol have fairly new albums out, U2 also have a new album out, haven't heard all of it yet, but I'm sure it'll be great :)
Dido's albums usually have a fair few sad songs...
