I wore new shoes approximately 1 month ago and spent hours walking. I woke up with numbness in 2 toes (lasted about 1 week). I have since gotten the feeling back but my toe feels like it has a bump or something on the bottom; however, there is nothing there. Sometime my toe still goes numb. I have no leg or back pain and there is no discoloration.

If your shoes are too tight and cutting off circulation, that could be the cause.
A similar sensation can be caused by athletes foot.
That's just my experience. When I was younger I would constantly wear constricting shoes, high heels, etc. (I was a ballet dancer). Then to my dismay I got stress fractures and bone spurs. My toes would get numb, but just my 2 outer toes. Once the circulation got back to them they were fine.
A few years ago though, I had an experience with athletes foot, which I had never had before then.
My toes would become tingly and feel numb even cold. Very hard to describe to you actually.
BUT if you are concerned, you should make an appointment with your doctor ;0)
