My step-daughter is living with (on her lease) a guy who she found out is using drugs in her apartment. He is on probation for theft of car stereos. Some how he manages to test negative on the urine sample at his probation officers meetings. How can I legally get him out of her life.
Will a temporary restraining order cause him to violate parole?
Please help. I fear for her and I can't see her hurt anymore.

Why not call up the probation officer and clue him in as to the bf's activities? Or better yet make an appointment and go visit him. The boyfriend will more than likely be detained in jail prior to a probation violation hearing for several weeks. You must be able to tell the officer when you think he's used so the officer can do a surprise test on him, otherwise he's going to keep skating free down the road.
Urine samples are pase. They should use the cheek swab testing as the pot residue collects in the soft tissue of the mouth and stays there for sometime.
Then you can get the boyfriend out of her life in the days he's in jail.
