I have 2004 Ford F-150 XLT 4x4 I just replaced the breaks and the front left and back right calipers. After replacing the calipers and break pads I took a drive and when I accelerate fast or usually when I get up to around 20mp and up there is a grinding noise coming from what sounds the front right corner of my truck. This grinding noise only happens when I am accelerating, it stops the second I take my foot of the gas pedal. Does any body have any idea what could be making this grinding sound?

If the noise began after working on the brakes:

. Did you grease the caliper pins with silicone grease?

. Did you completely change the brake fluid?

Both of these items help the calipers to properly retract.

. Did you damage the ABS by forcing old brake fluid into the modulator, when you installed the new pads? It's best to open the bleeder screw and remove the cap to the master cylinder reservoir, to prevent ABS damage.

If the noise existed before working on the brakes:

. Check transfer case fluid level.

. Grease universal joints.

. Check for debris lodged between the hub and the disc.
