I bought a home in Michigan on a quick claim deed from a person that should me that she was the sole owner of the property in tax forms her family has been paying the taxes for over ten years now the taxes are due and there is a deed holder that is trying to get the house back because he said he sold it to this family ten yars ago and they never paid off the land contract so he have the deed . What can I do? Is it true that rent payers and land contract payers do not pay property taxes?

It depends on the land contract paperwork. In most cases the land contract "tenant" does not pay the taxes but the real landholder pays the taxes as the taxes are in their name.
Was the land contract ever recorded with the County Recorder's Office?

This is the drawback of a Quit (not quick) Claim deed. It doesn't warrant that the person signing the deed has clear title. You should have hired a title company to do a search.
