I'm looking for the name/artist of a popular dance song that was apparently played a lot in the late 70s or early 80s (though I heard it recently) and it has the words "kimosabe" and "ride it" in it - I think. It was really too loud to make out the lyrics. Anyone know?

The apache song was in '99... but their first big hit was rapper's delight... one of the first mainstream rap songs out there... wish I could find a clip...

Hell yea... off topic-ish, I know... but this was their Mark in Music. The song that brought street dance to every burb. When people talk "old school" in rap, this is It.
