If someone else signed the birth certificate he will be considered the lega father until you go to court and prove he is not and prove another man is. * if that is even allowed, there are time limits in many places.

But once the other person is proven not to be the father he will be or should be removed from the birth certificate.

Actually until he is, he is the one liable to pay the child suppot, not someone else.

If you have someone besides the actual father sign the birth certificate, you are committing FRAUD.

And someday, your kid is going to need a kidney transplant or something and will find out that you LIED to him/her throughout his/her whole life, and the kid will hate YOU.

How about just being honest about how the natural father is, and having your husband adopt your child if you want him to raise him or her?

Aside from that--you're asking to have your cake and eat it too. You don't get to collect child support from one man and have the other man get to be daddy legally. It doesn't work that way.

Why do women do this? Seriously--why would you want to do this? Why can't you just be honest with your kid to begin with, and NOT try to screw over the father over the whole thing?
