Hello, every time my husband and I are surfing the web we always get booted off. We always get an iexplore error message asking us do we want to send an error message. I was told it was due to spyware, we deleted (or thought) we deleted the spyware, adware and it still happens. Can anyone suggest something?
Thanks Rick & Deb

What does the iexplore error message say (exactly)?
The question as to whether you want to send information to Microsoft can be turned off or on. Right-click on "My Computer" and select "Properties". Click the "Advanced" tab and near the bottom right is a button labeled "Error Reporting". I always set mine to "Disable error reporting" and I check the box labeled "But notify me when critical errors occur". I don't think it's my job to inform Microsoft of problems, and I also think that they don't care about Windows XP any more.
If it is spyware, you could get a copy of "HijackThis"

Run that and post the text from the result file and let someone here take a look at it. There are a lot of forums that specialize in this also.
